Bruno Miglio

Bruno is a Founding Director and until recently, the Managing Director of FMDC.  He completed his BSc in Geology, followed by an MSc in Industrial Petrology in 1981, and in order to reflect his increasing status in senior management, an MBA in 1998.

With over 35 years of industry experience, he is recognised as one of the foremost stone specialists in the industry. During this time, he has held senior management positions in a number of large Consulting Engineering practices and culminating in his involvement in founding FMDC.

Bruno has a wide client base, built on successful project delivery with excellent connections to Developers, Main Contractors and within the stone industry. He has worked on stone consultancy in the UK and overseas, including prestigious projects for FMDC including; Bloomberg HQ, the Perelman Centre NYC and Chelsea Barracks.

Bruno remains the Commercial leader of FMDC and also is actively involved in project delivery. He carries out quarry visits and natural inspections worldwide and is heavily involved in the selection of materials for both external facades and interiors. 

In the UK he has also acted as an expert witness, giving testimony in Court, whilst also participating in mediation services on several projects and has produced expert reports on projects in both the UK and overseas.

Bruno naturally appreciates geological landscapes, particularly in Italy, where he also enjoys the culinary and viticultural delights that the land provides with family and friends.
