Matt Williams

Matt is a Director at FMDC, with over 20-years of experience working as a Façade Designer in the UK and the USA. His capacity for critical thinking, vast built experience, and drive to achieve exquisite yet efficient cladding solutions make him a valuable asset for any project.

Matt has significant experience in leading integrated architectural and specialist engineering design teams in the design, engineering, and procurement of facade systems from concept through to successful completion, worldwide. Some of these award-winning schemes include the Google Bay View Campus, in California; Sainsbury Laboratory, Cambridge UK; Torre Reforma in Mexico City and the Guggenheim Museum in Abu Dhabi.

His work with world leading architects and developers led to him being elevated to the College of Fellows at the Façade Tectonics Institute, which not only recognizes the achievements in Façade design as an individual but also elevates before the public and the profession those Façade creators who have made significant contributions to architecture.

In his spare time, he enjoys cycling and spending time with family.
