Felix Cruz Marcos

Felix is an Associate Façade Designer at FMDC. He has extensive industry experience acquired in UK, the Far East and Continental Europe.

Prior to joining FMDC Felix worked as Associate at the award-winning practice Alison Brooks Architects, where for eight years he led teams of up to 13 people, through all Stages of design. He was also a representative for the practice at Technical Forums. Key projects during this period are Cadence (Building S5 in King’s Cross Central, for Argent), Knights Park and Rubicon, (both of them part of the North West Cambridge Development).

Before this, Felix worked three years for the standardarchitecture, in Beijing,China. Works during these years include the Niang Ou Wharf, and the Pai Hostel. Prior to this he worked at an engineering consultancy in Madrid, Spain, with a focus on steel and concrete structural design.

Felix’s background enables him to engage with the client’s vision, materialising the full potential of the design through creative, design-led technically robust solutions.  In his spare time, he is a keen runner and loves coffee and books.
