Stuart Taylor

Associate Director

Stuart is an Associate Director with over 25 years in the industry and 22 years as a façade engineer. He holds a BEng in Mechanical engineering and MSc in Façade engineering. He is a Chartered Engineer though CIBSE and a Fellow of the Society of Façade Engineers (SFE).

Stuart has detailed knowledge and experience of using many of the façade systems utilised in modern building construction and is able to apply this knowhow to projects from early design to completion on site.  Stuart has extensive knowledge of the plethora of standards and publications which are referenced in façade design.  He is working on some of FMDC’s most important projects including; Salisbury Square, The Clearings, and 100 New Bridge Street.  In his time before joining FMDC, he has worked on some landmark projects such as Manchester Civil Justice Centre, Library of Birmingham, 60 London Wall, 10 Trinity Square, Ryerson University (Toronto) and the National Library of Latvia.

Stuart enjoys practical hobbies such as cabinet making as well as playing snooker and reading.
