The Jellicoe

Designed by architects Piercy & Company, The Jellicoe is the office component of the mixed-use R8 development in the heart of Kings Cross Central by developers Argent.
Located next to its residential sister, Deltic House. This twelve-storey building offers 9 levels of commercial office plates above and below shared amenity spaces at street and roof levels. The gently curved façade opposite Jellicoe Gardens is clad with unitised curtain walling manufactured and installed by sub-contractor Focchi.

The 3m wide curtain wall panels are arranged in a saw-tooth fashion and incorporate vertical GRC panels and horizontal string coursing by Polycon, framing the glazing and giving the building its subtle yet singular presence.

The ground floor is clad with aluminium stick curtain walling behind double height GRC piers, forming a colonnade at street level and further accentuating the building’s position in its surrounding urban context.

The Jellicoe was completed in 2025 and the building is one of several successful collaborations between FMDC and architects Piercy & Company.
