Yesterday the FMDC Ltd team enjoyed a tour of The Fitzrovia, a new-build mixed residential and office project by Stiff + Trevillion Architects currently under construction, in which FMDC Ltd have been involved as façade consultants since early design stages and for which we are currently novated to Main Contractor Kier Group for the construction stages. Stiff + Trevillion Architects’s Sean Crummey and Stephen Ayles and FMDC Ltd‘s André Ramalhinho took us through some of the ins-and-outs of the cladding which comprises terracotta, brick and stone-faced precast panels manufactured by DECOMO with pre-glazed infills and ground floor stick curtain walling by VGV Façades. Another successful collaboration with Stiff + Trevillion Architects following our work on the refurbishment and extension of the Arding & Hobbs department store in Clapham Junction.
