Marble Arch Place

Marble Arch Place is two buildings in one, located on an exceptional site between Oxford Street and Hyde Park.
The scheme designed by Rafael Viñoly Architects for developer Almacantar and the Portman Estate was completed by Main Contractor Multiplex in 2021

The mixed-use development comprises an office and residential building, which also include a significant component of retail and leisure programme.

The massing extends to 18-stories above ground and delivers stunning views over Hyde Park.

The development delivered a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating for the office component and Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 for the residential element with a construction cost ca. £261M.

FMDC were employed by Multiplex to provide technical support in the delivery of the facades, which comprised approximately 850 stone faced precast units produced by Grants and unitised curtain walling panels and stick curtain wall with curved glass by Metallbau Fruh
