FMDC Ltd’s Duncan Richards attended a team visit to KG Constructions Group, in Lithuania last week, with the project representatives from Mace, Jo Cowen Architects and developers Knight Dragon Ltd. KG Constructions Group are now appointed to undertake a PCSA on Plot 103, as part of Mace’s framework agreement for the Peninsula Quays site. The project is a high-rise residential tower, to be executed in unitised curtain walling, to the new Building Regulations and demanding sustainability aspirations. The team undertook a factory tour and established early design principles for the façade delivery, in what proved a very productive couple of days. A basketball court was specifically chosen for the team photo, to showcase the athleticism and fitness of those present!
