FMDC Ltd‘s Alessio Marostica and Duncan Richards recently enjoyed an informative and very useful visit to the Grants Group‘s precast quarry and precast manufacturing facility in Doncaster, with our friends from Woods Bagot (Fabrizio Cazzulo, Alex Fox and Alan Ma). Glenn Henson and Mick Denyer generously gave their time and expertise to discussions around a new (confidential) project, which we hope will be submitted for planning shortly. We saw completed panels and others in manufacture, for two current FMDC Ltd projects, including 81 Newgate Street, designed by KPF architects. We also saw some huge stone faced, brick faced and fair faced ECO2lite panels, at roughly 6m X 4.5m, only weighing 6 tonnes, which were very impressive.
