334 Oxford Street PMU

Major milestones have recently been achieved on 334 Oxford Street, a mixed-use building in London by Allford Hall Monaghan Morris architects for developers Ramsbury GroupFMDC Ltd recently attended a Performance Mock-Up test at Scheldebouw B.V.’s factory for the unitised curtain wall of the project. The unitised curtain wall comprises a combination of large flat glazed panels and smaller projecting panels with coloured vertical aluminium extrusions by Gutmann ME Group, anodised by Alumet. The successful performance test was followed by a first article inspection of a glazed curtain wall panel, and the manufacture of the unitised panels is now on-going. Horizontal GRC string courses by Polycon will be factory fitted to the opaque panels, as well as site installed between curtain wall panels. The installation of the cladding is due to start in Q4 of this year. Lendlease are the Main Contractor delivering the project.
