The installation of the precast concrete panels by Sub-Contractor Loveld is nearing completion on 36-38 Berkeley Square, an office building by architects Piercy&Company for developers Berkeley Estate Asset Management. The precast panels come in a variety of finishes, stone faced and fair faced, including four shades of red, white and grey and are pre-glazed with Secco Sistemi stainless steel windows.
Other cladding types including the stick curtain wall at ground and lower ground floor, handset stone at lower ground floor, GRC panels and doors at terrace levels are still due to be installed but the building – due for completion at the end of 2024 – is already looking spectacular and oozing quality. FMDC Ltd have been involved in the project as façade consultants since initial design stages and are currently novated to Mace, the Main Contractor delivering the project.
